Inspired by a farmers cooperative, this company wanted to give small UK businesses more purchasing power and better discounts on office supplies etc. rather than larger companies being the only ones able to flex their purchasing muscle power. We designed the logo, built a slick microsite as a holding page, added a short flash animation to showcase a range of services and make full use of the small amount of space we had – then transferred this to the company’s IT department so they could host it until they raised enough capital to approach someone for a full build. Microsites are best suited for: promoting events or projects or raising awareness of a particular issue, start ups, small groups and small businesses not wanting to overspend on a website, anyone who doesn’t need a large website. Using an Arts Council grant, The Tree Council and Learning through Landscapes wanted to inspire children to celebrate and look after trees. We were delighted when they commissioned us to design the site, logo and CDROM with various interactive areas and downloadable worksheets (which received a 5 star rating in the Times Educational Supplement) for the Tree Ties campaign. The Tree Ties website was sent to the Tree Council’s existing web company so they could embed it in the company site without having to re-style their main site. This is one of our in-house projects. The consultant psychologist who designs for us is also a published author. Two of her books help people deal with bullying, but these are usually bought by schools. She desperately wanted to give away as much free information as possible to families who might be struggling and who might got be able to get hold of the booklets so we were delighted to build a website with her. The Campaign for Learning wanted to produce a 'Learning for Work' CDROM for organisations which contained 19 downloadable and printable training booklets on improving communication, developing essential skills, working with people etc. The CDROM also came with a licence so the buyer can reproduce unlimited copies of the booklets. CDROMS: Basically with CDROMS the world’s your oyster. We can do all sorts of interactive stuff. Great for any project. Great to use as an educational tool of any kind in any area instead of a print-based medium because you can make the content interactive and engaging as well as having the capacity for people to print out or download things as they need. We can create the master CDROM for you and you can take it to any printers or do it in house, or we can sort this out for you. CDROMS can be reproduced in far smaller quantities than booklets and books which makes them a cost effective option. Plus once the CDROM is made you then have this to reproduce to your heart’s content when you need to.

Dr. Paul is famous in Kent for his do-goodings after the Tsumani. He volunteered for the unfortunate job of flying out to help authorities identify the huge number of victims as quickly as possible so that families could be put out of their misery. Being a complete softie he also rescued an orphaned dog that befriended him and would greet him after his grim tasks each day and who he couldn’t bear to leave behind when he finished his stint out there. In sea of dentists now focusing on tooth whitening and capitalising on our obsession with appearances, Dr. Paul continues to be just a family friendly dentist working for his community. So, we designed a great logo and built a very user friendly little microsite so that Dr. Paul’s patients could access basic information. Fit for Schools is a great company who go into schools and run after school parent groups to help children and families relax together and feel fit & healthy.
